Adam Linson and Matthew Wright each spent decades exploring the boundaries and blurring the lines between live and recorded sound. Their most recent collaborative outings have been in Evan Parker's ElectroAcoustic Ensemble (newly released album on Fundacja Słuchaj Records) and Parker and Wright's TranceMap+ (recent quintet album on Intakt Records).

CLOSE SCRAPE (Adam Linson, turntables/double-bass and Matthew Wright, electronics/percussion) present a new commission for Tectonics Festival: Glasgow 2021. The piece, "Cutout (6x6)", will be debuted with two new collaborations: a live broadcast version for BBC Radio 3, premiering on 8th May 2021, with purpose-recorded material for "Cutout (6x6)" by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and a recorded version, premiering on the Tectonics website soon, with video-based visual art by Maya + Rouvelle.
